Reka Gyorgy speaks
Very thoughtful letter written by VT swimmer Reka Gyorgy on the womens' NCAA champs meet this weekend. She was last swimmer out from finals in the 500 free, finishing 17th in prelims and missing coming back for finals and being an Honorable Mention All American (she did make finals in 400IM, placing 10th). The letter is not only thoughtful and respectful but also puts the blame for this controversial champs meet on the NCAA where it belongs. A teammate also spoke out on camera during the meet. Will be interesting to see how the VT administration reacts. She is the first swimmer to speak out publicly like this though another VT swimmer did speak out publicly on camera (not sure who it was) about the unfairness to Reka.
